Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora will face each other at The O2 in London on December 22, two years on from their first epic heavyweight battle.
Reward for a Whyte victory will put him in position as a potential challenger to world champion Anthony Joshua at Wembley in April 2019 - another rematch after Joshua beat him first time around.
The 2016 Fight of the Year contender at Manchester Arena with Chisora saw Whyte claim a controversial split points decision after 12 relentless rounds of back and forth action.
The backdrop to the first contest was bad blood, threats outside the ring and tables being overturned by Chisora at a press conference. The fight which followed the ruckus did not disappoint.
Since that night, Brixton’s Whyte is on the brink of a world title challenge after significant victories over Australia’s Lucas Browne and New Zealand’s former world champion Joseph Parker.
Finchley star Chisora, meanwhile, has been gunning for a rematch with ‘The Bodysnatcher’ ever since their first memorable meeting and finally gets the chance to avenge his loss against the WBC Silver champion.
Chisora, now managed by old foe David Haye, has long maintained that he did enough to beat Whyte in their first meeting and has promised to take it out of the judges’ hands by knocking out Whyte when they meet again in December.
